Readers
- Following vs subscribing — Following is free email updates and free posts in your Feed (on-site, not your email inbox). Subscribing is paid access plus member RSS.
- Member RSS — After a paid subscription, check Account → Subscriptions for a private feed URL for podcast apps.
- Paywalled posts — One-time purchases appear under Account → Purchases.
- Login options — Password, email code, or SMS code at Log in.
Creators
- Studio — Create publications, posts, episodes, tiers, and schedule publishing from Studio.
- Paywall — Enable monetization on a publication, add tiers, and mark individual posts/episodes as member-only or PPV.
- Payouts — Stripe Connect onboarding is required before live payouts (see Studio → Payouts).
- Moving a podcast — Import your RSS in Studio, publish on CreatorContent, then update your directory listing when ready.
- AI assistant — Enable the AI management MCP feature in Settings → Features, then use Studio → AI assistant to chat, draft content, and review proposals. Connect external tools via MCP integration (scoped bearer tokens).
Platform staff
- MCP console — Admin → MCP lets staff inspect scoped bearer tokens, run MCP tools against a selected publication, review proposals/logs, and test the AI chat.
- AI chat setup — Configure
OPENAI_API_KEYbefore using the chat or push-to-talk transcription. Without it, the console still lists tools and returns a setup message. - Safe changes — Direct MCP writes should stay limited to drafts, checklists, and proposal records. Publishing and monetization use owner handoffs; domains, OAuth, team changes, and destructive actions should use future approval flows.
